Q: How much does the Elite 3000 weigh?

A: The Elite 3000 only weighs 48 lbs total.

 

Q: What size is the battery bank?

A: The battery bank is 12.6V 250AH (3150Wh Peak)

 

Q: What type of AC Inverter is built into the Elite 3000?

A: 2,000 Watt Pure Sine Wave. Maximum starting surge of 3,000 Watts.

 

Q: What is the expected lifespan of the Elite 3000 battery?

A: Up to 2,000 cycles or 10 years if the battery is well maintained.

 

Q: What is the warranty for the Elite 3000?

A: The warranty is one year limited.

 

Q: Is the internal lithium battery user replaceable?

A: No. Any battery service must be rendered by Delta Force.

 

Q: How long will the battery hold its charge?

A: Up to one year. However, we recommend checking the battery level every 3 months to ensure it is over 10% charged.

 

Q: Can I use the Elite 3000 while it is charging?

A: Yes. You can use the system while it's charging.

 

Q: Can I fly on an airplane with the Elite 3000, or ship it myself?

A: No. The Elite 3000 cannot be carried on or checked onto passenger aircraft. Also, due to the size of the lithium battery, shipping the Elite 3000 needs to be facilitated by a hazmat certified shipper only.

 

Q: Can I connect lithium ion batteries to the Elite 3000?

A: No. Adding external batteries will negatively effect the lifespan of the battery. In addition, adding external batteries can be dangerous and is not allowed.

 

Q: The LCD is still on, but I’m no longer getting power from the Elite 3000 – Why?

A: The Elite 3000 is equipped with internal overload protection to prevent damage. In the event that the load power exceeds the rated power (2000 watts), the unit will turn off and an alarm will sound. Simply, switch the power button to OFF and allow it to cool for several minutes, then turn the system back on and reduce the power demand. *The same applies to both AC and DC loads.

Charging Your Elite 3000

 

The Elite 3000 has two ports for charging. Only connect one charge source at a time. Connecting two simultaneously will damage your system and may be dangerous.

 

Port 1: AC Charging (the silver port)

This port is for AC charging ONLY. DO NOT USE THIS PORT FOR SOLAR CHARGING.

 

The Elite 3000 features a QUICK CHARGE 12.6V/30A battery charger. The charger has two small LED lights. The red light will be displayed when the system is charging. Once the light turns green, the system is fully charged.

 

*NOTE: The battery display may show 100% charge, but because of the unique CC/CV charging mode, the final charging time will take longer.

 

 

AC CHARGING TIME:

The AC charger provides 378 watts of power. This will charge your Elite 3000 in approx 5.5 hours from 70% depleted.

 

Port 2: SOLAR/*WIND Charging (This is the black port)

The Elite 3000 has a 12V/30A charge controller built-in.

Maximum Input: Up To 360 Watts from solar or wind.

 

Please, only use 12V solar panels. If using more than one panel, connect panels in a PARALLEL wiring configuration only!

 

 

 

SOLAR CHARGING TIME:

In optimal conditions, the 360 watts will charge the Elite 3000 in approximately 6.5 hours, from 70% depleted.

 

*Charge times vary depending on the type of solar panels used, sun conditions, and angle of panels relative to the sun.

Powering Your Devices

 

To power your devices, simply connect the device and turn on the appropriate, AC or DC power switch.

 

When you're done using your devices, please turn the Elite 3000 power switch to off or the system will continue to drain power from the battery.

 

 

Battery Type: The Elite 3000 uses an LG Lithium Polymer battery. This is a very lightweight battery with superior safety vs. lithium-ion NMC.

 

Best Practices: The Elite 3000 can power up to 2,000 watts from the AC outlets and 240 watts from the two DC ports. However, by sticking to lower power usage on a regular basis, you can maximize battery capacity and have achieve a longer lifespan.

 

Example: By using 50% battery power on a regular basis, you can expect to get 2,000 cycles from the battery. If you're using 70% of the battery power you can expect around 1,000 cycles.

SAFETY AND STORAGE GUIDELINES

 

      • NEVER connect solar panels or other charge sources exceeding 26 Volts (Open Circuit, abbreviated as VOC) to the Elite 3000.

         

      • NEVER connect solar panels in a SERIES wiring configuration. All solar panels must be connected in a PARALLEL wiring configuration.

      •  

      • NEVER store the Elite 3000 in environments exceeding 140 °F, such as a hot vehicle.

      •  

      • NEVER Use a external battery charger that is not supplied by Delta Force Power.

      •  

      • NEVER connect any external battery to the Elite 3000.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING LITHIUM BATTERIES

 

  • In general, devices with large lithium ion batteries (like the Elite 3000) should be stored similar to a gas-powered generator: away from flammable items and on a cool, dry, non-combustible surface (such as a garage or storage shed).

     

  • When handling lithium batteries, do not short-circuit, crush, drop, mutilate, penetrate with foreign objects, apply reverse polarity, expose to high temperature or disassemble packs and cells. If a Lithium battery (or Elite 3000) overheats, hisses, bulges, or pops, immediately move the device away from flammable materials and place it on a non-combustible surface for at least 48 hours.

     

  • A Class-D fire extinguisher should be used to put out a lithium fire. If one is not available, DRY SAND or even DRY TABLE SALT can be safely used to douse the fire.

  • If you experience a lithium battery fire and the fire cannot be extinguished, allow the fire to burn out on its own in a controlled and safe manner. It is possible for burning lithium-ion batteries to reignite after being extinguished, so allow the device to remain on a non-combustible surface for at least 48 hours.

 

  

 

 LIMITED WARRANTY

 

DELTA FORCE POWER, LLC warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the ELITE 3000 product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal conditions during the applicable warranty period, identified in Paragraph 2, below, subject to the exclusions set forth in Paragraph 6, below. This warranty statement sets forth DELTA FORCE POWER'S total and exclusive warranty obligation. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sales of our products.

 

 

 

 

WARRANTY PERIOD

 

The warranty period for all DELTA FORCE POWER products and components is one (1) year. In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. The sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, or other reasonable documentary proof, is required in order to establish the start date of the warranty period. Registration is not required.

 

NO LEMON POLICY

 

DELTA FORCE POWER warrants to the original consumer purchaser that should this DELTA FORCE POWER product require service (rendered only by DELTA FORCE POWER) on (3) three separate occasions with-in the above stated one (1) year warranty period, the unit can be exchanged for a replacement product of comparable type, quality, and functionality at the request of the original consumer purchaser. Validation by a DELTA FORCE POWER technician of product failure is required prior to replacement. Your warranty remains in force for the duration of the original one (1) year warranty period, and is in no way terminated by replacement product under this No Lemon Policy.

 

 

 

REMEDY

 

DELTA FORCE POWER will repair or replace (at DELTA FORCE POWER'S option and expense) any DELTA FORCE POWER product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to a defect in workmanship or material.

 

 

 

 

 

  LIMITED TO ORIGINAL CONSUMER BUYER

 

The warranty on DELTA FORCE POWER'S products is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

 

EXCLUSIONS

 

DELTA FORCE POWER 's warranty does not apply to (i) any product that is misused, abused, modified, damaged by accident, or used for anything other than normal consumer use as authorized in DELTA FORCE POWER’s current product literature, or (ii) any product purchased through an online auction house. DELTA FORCE POWER’s warranty does not apply to any battery cell or product containing a battery cell unless the battery cell is fully charged by the consumer at least once every 6 months.

 

 

 

HOW TO RECEIVE SERVICE

 

To obtain warranty service, you must contact our technical support team at: support@deltaforcepower.com

 

If our support team determines that further assistance is required, they will give you a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number and return shipping label. You must package the product in original provided product packaging, clearly marking the RMA number on the package and including proof of your purchase with the product.
